Antarctica

Back when we were young, an unexpected windfall allowed us to pursue a dream: to travel to the end of the earth. Ice, desolation, wildlife and wilderness, and the beautiful cold of snow. This was 2006, very early in our photography journey, with young equipment too - a Canon 30D, some regrettably cheap lenses and some mono film. It rarely mattered, for the scenes shine through no matter the definition or the light. Such tears fell, at the end.
